How to Enable Push Notifications for The Post & The Press - Mobile: Android

On Your Mobile (Instruction below is for Android only)

1. Open Chrome on your Android phone.
2. Go to: https://www.thepost.co.nz/ via Chrome
3. Log in using your email address associated with your Stuff account.

4. You will see the prompt of ‘Add The Post to your homescreen’’. If it doesn’t appear straight away, browse a few articles and it should prompt the pop-up - Click on Install now, this will place a The Post icon on your home screen.

   

   
   
    

5. Tap the new The Post icon to open it.
6. Log in using your email address associated with your Stuff account.

• If your phone is Android 12 and under - You don’t need to do anything further, the daily news push will reach your phone everyday at 9 am.
• If your phone is Android 13 and forward -

7. Tap the new The Post icon to open it.
8. Log in using your stuff email address.
9. Tap on any article to open it.
10. When prompted:

• Tap “Yes, please”.

• Then tap “Allow” on the second pop-up to confirm notifications.

  

✅ That’s it! You should now receive ‘Today’s Top News’ push notifications at 9am everyday on your mobile too.
